VSS is one of the biggest steel factories in Slovakia. They cast big machine parts, engines etc. But also make huge crane sections, cut through very thick rods of steel (up to 1 meter thickness). They do almost everything in the field of metal processing.

VSS asked us with several other designers to create an exclusive line of luxury design products. The products should fit in their brandnew line CreatiVSS. As they can do everything, you can imagine, we felt like a kid in a candystore. We visit the factory in Kosice in a workshop. During a week, smelling metal, seeing all possibilities and being very inspired we made several proposals for the brand. 
One of them was a multifunctional candleholder, suitable for several sizes candles. The candleholder was casted in iron. Numbers the factory uses in their work were used as decoration on the candleholder.
